Fibreglass dry laid systems can be installed over decking boards or existing coverings, as long as, the decking is structurally sound. Skyline Roofing Company always work to the manufacturer's guidelines:
- Inspect the decking structure.
- A vapour check is put in place and a ventilation system is installed.
- Optional insulation is secured into place.
- Fibreglass panels and trims are fixed into place.
- Panel joints are covered with resin and shop strand matting to obtain a watertight seal.
- A topcoat resin is applied to the panels.
The topcoat comes in a range of colours. The colours can simulate lead and copper roof coverings. The dry laid system comes with a twenty-five year guarantee.
